I’m Your Host, Leigh morgan
I started this podcast to elevate the quality of civic discourse and strengthen our collective ability to engage hard societal issues in ways that bring people together—rather than deepen polarization or fear. That work begins with affirming our own values and building the skills and practices required to bridge divides. My guests offer thoughtful perspectives on how to do this, and in my solo episodes, I draw on my own experiences and reflections.
In addition to being the founder and CEO of Imaginal Leadership Strategies, a boutique business advisory firm based in Seattle, I’ve had the good fortune of helping to build, scale, and lead some of the world’s most innovative and high-performing organizations, including the Gates Foundation, Genentech, and Nia Tero. My work has taken me around the globe and back again, alongside people from a wide range of backgrounds and lived experiences. I’ve also served in governance roles across both public and private companies, and am the immediate past Chair of the Fred Hutch Cancer Center.
I love working in teams, solving complex problems, and serving as a trusted guide—what one client once called a “Yoda”—to executives, teams, and organizations through my advisory and governance roles.
